You're no-doubt wondering what we're doing reviewing a catalog. When this came in from AK Interactive, I assumed that it was a courtesy copy to accompany some other products that also arrived for review. Even so, when I thumbed through the catalog, I realized AK Interactive has done something absolutely brilliant. They not only show you WHAT they have for modelers, they also show you HOW to use those products.

The first roughly 2/3 of this title show the wide variety of paints, washes, filters, weathering products, decals, references, etc., that AK Interactive produces. The photos that accompany these products provide some useful illustrations of what these products can do. The final third dedicates a full page to each special effect wash, weathering, or filter product, each with numerous full-color photos and narrative on how to use a given product. This is their Tech Sheets/How-To section and you'll want to have this handy.

The good news is that you can acquire a copy of this catalog free (in PDF form) whether you prefer to read in English, en Français, en Español, или на русском языке. Simply click on the corresponding link and receive a free downloaded copy of this handy reference in your chosen language. If you prefer an analog (hardcopy) reference, you can purchase a high-quality printed copy of this catalog from your favorite hobby retailer or directly from AK Interactive.

Definitely recommended!

My sincere thanks to AK Interactive for this review copy!
