Aero Research is back with the third installment in their Worldwide Military series. This new photo CD features a random sampling of international military aircraft photos that were taken anywhere between the mid 1960s to present. None of these photos are from the government photo archives, these are all compiled from the same excellent range of professional (or very skilled) aviation photographers.

Most importantly, all of these photos are of aircraft still in service, no derelicts, boneyard storage, or museum pieces. According to the publisher, this is the first time that most of these images have ever been published. These include:

  • A-4 Skyhawk
  • A-7 Corsair II
  • A-37 Dragonfly
  • Alouette
  • Belfast
  • C-45
  • C-46 Commando
  • C-47 Skytrain
  • C-54 Skymaster
  • C-119 Flying Boxcar
  • C-123 Provider
  • Canberra
  • CC-137
  • CH-47 Chinook
  • CH-113
  • CH-135
  • CH-136
  • DC-6
  • DC-7
  • DHC-4
  • Do-27
  • Draken
  • E-3 Sentry
  • F-27 Friendship
  • F4U Corsair
  • F8F Bearcat
  • G.91 Gina
  • G.222
  • Gazelle
  • Gripen
  • H-21
  • HU-16 Albatross
  • Hunter
  • Jaguar
  • KC-135
  • Lansen
  • Magister
  • Merlin
  • Navajo
  • P-2 Neptune
  • PS-1
  • S-2 Tracker
  • SAAB-105
  • Sea Fury
  • Su-15 Flagon
  • Su-22 Fitter
  • Super Frelon
  • T-33 Shooting Star
  • T-34 Mentor
  • Tu-95 Bear
  • Tucano
  • U-6
  • U-17
  • Vautour
  • VC-10
  • Viggen

For the tail spotter, you'll see these aircraft from a variety of time periods to that you'll get a nice selection of camouflage patterns used to replicate different threats around the globe. This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!

You can purchase this reference or any of their other photo CDs directly from their website www.aeroresearchcds.com or via email AeroResearch@Charter.net.

My sincere thanks to Aero Research for this review sample!
