Aero Research has released this nice monograph covering the Lockheed Electra. This is Lockheed's short/mid-range commuter aircraft that had some teething problems but found its way into the freight business in a big way. The US Navy adopted a modified version of the Electra airframe as the P-3 Orion though the wing was moved forward on the fuselage for that adaptation.

This disc contains 185 high resolution images of the aircraft sorted by model type and tail number. This disc has numerous examples of the L-188A, L-188AF, L-188C, L-188CF, and L-188PF variants.

For the modeler, you'll see lots of good details and color information for tackling that next Electra conversion project.

This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!

You can purchase this reference or any of their other photo CDs directly from their website www.aeroresearchcds.com or via email AeroResearch@Charter.net.

My sincere thanks to Aero Research for this review sample!
