First-Look

If you're an AMS modeler, you spend lots of time working with photo-etch parts. Some of you may be gouging the surface of your working space while trying to cleanly remove the parts from their carrier.

The Block

Ausfwerks to the rescue! They've created 'The Block' which is nothing more than a 3" x 4" piece of 1/4" ultra-high density polymer (can you say "cutting board?") that will provide a smooth surface for cutting those parts without taking up much space and without those bends/deformities in your parts from using 'softer' cutting surfaces.

This is a handy little tool that will make working with photo-etch just a little easier. This tool is definitely recommended!

My sincere thanks to Ausfwerks for this review sample!
