The folks at UMM-USA continue to add new tools for a variety of tasks that make the modeler's life easier. In this release, we have the 3D Center Locating Tool Jig which is essentially a three-dimensional protractor set for 45 degrees. Simply place a square or round object in the V and draw a line through the center of the object. Rotate the object 90 degrees and draw another line. Where the lines intersect is the center point. If you've got a resin wheel that is missing the axle hole, this handy tool will let you locate the point where you'll use a pin vice or drill bit to open up the axle hole. This tool is useful in a variety of other cases where you need to find a center point in a smaller circular or square object.
