First Look
Just Plane Stuff has been around for a few years and has created a nice array of diorama bases for aircraft of a variety of scales. Recently they ventured off of the aircraft theme and turned out a diorama kit for a Panther turret bunker.
In this release, they've recreated a typical German gun emplacement used by 88mm flak guns. The base is molded from light-weight foam resin and as you can see in the photos, is highly detailed. From the wood planks in the floor, the wood logs in the earth wall, and the texture of the surrounding terrain, this base should be painted and weathered as a model of its own right. Once complete, it will provide an excellent feature to show off your favorite flak gun.
The base measures out to 11 inches square and is a little over 2 inches high.
