Skunk Models is back with another very useful kit. This time we have the US Navy Missile Cart set which is an interesting mix in this box. This kit consists of the Harlen MA-50 tow tug in 1/48 scale released previously along with the NATO missile cart from that same release. This set also includes three new parts trees which make up the US Navy's 'red shirts' and their weapons loading tools.
The kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on seven parts trees. Four of the trees make up into the Harlan MA-50, tow bar, and missile cart. The three new trees provide:
- 4 x loader carts
- 1 x 20mm ammo cannister and carrier frame
- 1 x TER carrier (can carry 4 TERs)
- 1 x single weapon frame
- 1 x triple weapon frame
- 1 x dual weapon frame
- 1 x portable bomb hoist
- 5 x red shirts
This set is will provide you with the gear and crew to bomb up your next Navy subject using the three new trees for a carrier deck scene, or you can use all of these trees for a shore station scene. Either way, Skunk Models provides you with more nice details to bring your next project to life.
